# MeetingWarning for Windows: full-screen meeting reminder for Outlook and Teams

MeetingWarning covers every screen a minute before your next call, with one big button to join it. Outlook's reminder window hides behind other apps and Teams only tells you once the meeting has started. This doesn't.

$5.99 once on the Microsoft Store (coming soon). No subscription. Windows 10 (version 2004) or Windows 11. Join the waitlist: email hello@meetingwarning.app with "waitlist" in the subject. Also on the Mac: https://meetingwarning.app/

## How it works

1. **Connect your calendars.** Sign in with Microsoft for Outlook, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Outlook.com, or with Google. Outlook doesn't need to be installed. Add as many accounts as you have.
2. **A minute before, every screen.** When a call is about to start, the alert covers every display, even over full-screen apps, with the meeting name and a live countdown.
3. **Press Enter to join.** Enter opens Teams, Zoom or Meet straight away. Esc dismisses it. Snooze gives you one more minute.

## The tray

Click the MeetingWarning icon in the tray for today and tomorrow. Each meeting is marked will or won't alert, with the reason ("no call link", "declined", "focus time"). From the menu you can join the next meeting, skip one meeting, choose Alert me anyway for one your rules would skip, mute a repeating meeting, or pause alerts for an hour or the rest of the day.

## Only the meetings that need you

All-day events, focus time and out-of-office blocks never trigger it. By default it also skips meetings without a call link and meetings you declined. Optionally skip meetings with no one else invited, meetings marked free, or titles with words you choose. Your main calendar is on; shared and team calendars are off until you switch them on.

## Works with

- Calendars: Outlook, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Outlook.com, Hotmail and Live, Google Calendar, Google Workspace
- Accounts: work, school and personal Microsoft accounts, several at once
- Calls: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, Slack huddles, Whereby, Jitsi, Amazon Chime, GoTo Meeting, Gather, Discord

## FAQ

### Does it work with the new Outlook for Windows?

Yes. MeetingWarning doesn't plug into the Outlook app: it signs in to your Microsoft account and reads the calendar from Microsoft. It works with the new Outlook, classic Outlook, Outlook on the web, or no Outlook at all.

### My company asks for admin approval. What now?

Some organizations only let apps their IT team approved read work calendars. Send the "Need admin approval" page to your IT team: they can approve MeetingWarning for everyone. It asks only to read calendars and your basic profile.

### Does it work with several screens?

Yes. The alert covers every connected display, and Join and Dismiss work from the main one.

### What if I'm presenting or in a full-screen app?

It still appears, because that's the point. If you don't want it for a while, pause it from the tray for an hour or for the rest of the day.

### Does it start with Windows?

You choose in Settings: launch at login is off until you turn it on.

### How much does it cost?

$5.99 once on the Microsoft Store, with updates included. No subscription, no account. It needs Windows 10 (version 2004) or Windows 11. The Mac version is a separate purchase on the Mac App Store.
